Well lots of things, really! But in this case, they come help you try out some ideas and pose for you! Amy and I have been friends for a long time now. If you’ve been following us for a while you may recognize her as we’ve been photographing her kids and family for many years. The kids are growing up and it’s way past time she had a session for herself! She is also the artist behind Crazy Daisy Cards that some of my upcoming clients will be receiving.

Amy is beautiful inside and out and I am glad I get to show you the beautiful side of this great lady. She rocked Vintage Vixen and Curvy Girl… Thanks Amy for coming to play and for giving me the giggles and I can’t wait to show you (and Jim) the rest including some of the out-takes! Enjoy!!!

One of the things we love to do when we have the opportunity, is work with models to develop their portfolios.  Brittney came to us wanting to add to her portfolio so we were happy to help!  Brittney was great to work with and we were excited to have Chastity, one of our favorite hair/makeup artists working with us on the shoot.  The session took a vintage theme and we had fun playing “dress up” in some of the new additions to the prop closet.  Brittney brought the cutest swimsuit with her for the session and now I need to add some more summer props as we loved the idea of the bright swimsuit!

Here are some of our favorite images from the session!  We can’t wait to work with her again!  We plan on doing engagement portraits for her as soon as the weather warms up!

February 21st we exhibited at the International Bridal Affair put on by Envi Event Planning at the W Hotel in Downtown Atlanta. We had a great time meeting with brides and grooms, watching the fashion show and meeting the other vendors.  The fashion shows featuring dresses from Bombay Boutique and  Wedding Angels had some amazing dresses!  We were also very happy to see our clients, Bianca & Mario attending the show looking to finish up selecting vendors for their upcoming wedding.

Our booth featured a selection of a few of our favorite images and our new blue and brown color scheme in the tablecloths and materials.  Our door prize for the show was a gift certificate for a Glamour Session which was won by Brishae, we can’t wait to meet with her to schedule her session!

We also had an in-booth give away for a Love Story/Engagement session and we’re excited to announce that the winner is…

Robin Washington!

Congratulations Robin, we can’t wait to meet you and your fiance’ Sam and begin planning your session!

Here are some highlights from the show, I wish we had more time there to photograph everything, but the day went by so quickly!  If you missed visiting with us at the show you can still get in on our special offer at the end of the slideshow.

Baby Deveraux was just about 3 weeks old when my friend Jenn brought him and his mom, Elizabeth over to ‘play’ recently.  Jenn is the Mother/Baby Coach for Seamless Garment Ministry which helps expectant homeless mothers and mothers in crisis in the Atlanta Area.  I have known Jenn for many years and was honored to photograph the birth of her last baby.  So when I needed a model for a project she jumped at the chance to bless one of her clients.  I am excited to share the images from the session, they have been waiting and without further ado…  Here are some of my favorites!
